The Cottage - NOT FOOD RELATED

Post by BkP on Tue Jun 07, 2016 7:55 pm

Check in is at 4:00pm on the Friday, why I don't know, but I have booked the whole day off. Scott and I want to golf on Friday morning. Scoob seemed half into it, Dean doesn't know if he wants to golf as he's only golfed once before. Todd would do a golf range but not a round and is more in favor of meeting up there for a lunch and some drinks before we hit the cottage. There are four people sharing a ride from Hamilton unless golf happens, which is a two hour drive. Todd seems to be about 1/2 way.

Does anybody else have any input or ideas? I'd like to spend as much time as I can during this weekend with as many of you as I can for as long as I can, while talking about hockey for as long as we can. If that means no golf then so be it.

Saw Road and Scott v2.0 today. They seemed to be not in favour. So here's a thought. Those who want to go, go. Those who want to BBQ at the cottage, stay.

The Smorgasbord people won't be gone forever. Besides, this doesn't need to be a weekend long group hug.

Check in seems kinda late, no?

Check in is check in. We don't control that.

I think the question here is travel arrangements. Who's driving who and when does that wagon leave. Worst case though BkP I'll come get you.

What didn't they seem to be in favor of?  I just want a whole day, and I'm talking about the Friday.  Don't care what it entails.  It doesn't have to be a group hug Scoob but I see you all so infrequently I'd like as much time as we can scrape together.  Yes I think check in is late, so in that vein I agree with Todd in we don't control that so let's figure something out.

The time is quick approaching so I would like something so work from or I'm just gonna work the Friday and come after work.  LoL, just kidding.

Hell, I'd do something Thursday night just to prolong the weekend.

Road has offered.

Well. Then aren't you stuck doing what they decide to do regardless of cost?

Depending on the course we choose, can be up to $52 for a round
